About MBIC Church
We have been a part of the Martinsburg community since 1865. We moved across Cross Cove Road to our current location in 1910. We are part of a larger denomination with a long history.
Here at Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church we are a family-oriented Church with activities for all age groups.

Michael Abell, Pastor
Pastor Michael has been in Ministry with the BIC since 2001. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three sons and two daughters: Christopher was born in December 2006; Jacob was born in October 2008; and Zachary was born at Nason Hospital on December 30, 2010; and Hannah & Rebekah were born on December 6, 2012. More

Laura Clark, Worship Director
Laura has worshiped at Martinsburg BIC for most of her life. She graduated from Central High School and received her music degree from Messiah College. She has been actively leading worship music even since high school. Her husband and three children join in the music-making, as well.. More
